Disruptive innovation is a business concept used to describe situations when an upstart company gains market share at the expense of established, larger companies. In art, disruptive innovation can take the form of a new style or a new way of seeing familiar subject matter.
Hess is a representational painter who combines Old Masters style with eroticism, symbolism, and satire. His work is also characterized by the use of abstract patterns and shapes.

John Seed is a secondary antagonist in both Far Cry 5 and Inside Eden’s Gate. He is a member of the Project at Eden’s Gate cult and believes that the end of the world is near. He is known for engraving the names of sins onto people’s skin.
Though some critics have charged that Naipaul is attached to imperialism, this view misses the point of his later works. When most people hear the word “art” they imagine something hanging in a gallery or museum. But art can take many forms. It can be a physical design like the swing set in the bus stop or Bruno Taylor’s videos of people playing in his installations.
It can also be a painting that is half realistic and half abstracted, such as Meredith Marsone’s paintings that were recently chosen for Beautiful Bizarre’s art prize. Marsone’s figurative paintings are blurred by streaks of oil paint, a style she describes as disrupted realism.
